What are the legal liabilities and issues that a hotel faces when a person (age over 22) drowns in their pool. Hotel had proper signage of "no lifeguard on duty", "children must be accompanied by adults", etc. On outside of the pool (on ground), there were also signs stating how deep the pool is. There are also signs in the pool (on pool tiles) showing how deep the pool is. cops were called once the partner realized the person was missing (around 30-45 mins), police found the body after couple of hours. What is proper procedure to handle a situation like this.
There isn't a specific law regarding the situation, but the hotel might be found negligent in a variety of ways. I would be willing to discuss the case at no charge
