Hello, everyone! I am in the process of forming a sole proprietorship, but I am a little confused about which form to file with the King's County clerk. I found this form http://www.dos.ny.gov/forms/corporations/1338-f.pdf but it has Albany address on it. When i looked through King's County court website, it only mentions Blumberg form x201, but I don't need to buy a 48 pack of those certificates. Can someone point me to the right direction? Thank you!
You need to register the DBA with the secretary of state and file a certificate with the county clerk. For a few hundred dollars a lawyer could work this out.
