Who is responsible for paying a deductible on a liability claim for plumbing repairs in a home once the owner of the company is deceased?

Is a spouse responsible for her deceased husband''s repair work, she never worked for the company or had any business doings with the company. The company was taken over by a son a week after the death. Insurance is available, but with a deductible, who pays the deductible!

Think about who would be responsible for the repairs in the absence of insurance. The surviving spouse did not contract for the repairs and is not liable for them unless they benefited her directly, which, in this case, they you didn't.
