Can I hire an attorney on a contingency basis for a lawsuit?

More details to this question:
My husband was charged with thief by deception & dismissed by prosecutor... we have a condo & minutes & emails went out to over 270 owners about him stealing money from the association. Can we file a civil suit , slander etc on a contingency basis?

Your husband can file a defamation lawsuit. These lawsuits are very expensive to prosecute. I do not believe an attorney will do this case on a contingency. Ed Dimom, Esq. 732-797-1600
