More details to this question:
My son was assaulted at school. The boy kicked him so hard in the groin he urinated blood for two days. The Connecticut State Police are telling me I cannot press charges. Do I have the right to ask for that? I know that the courts will ultimately decide if they stick or not, but can I be denied by the State Police like this?
I'm sorry to hear about this. Your son would have a case against the school district if it was foreseeable by school personnel that your child was at risk of being assaulted and they failed to take precautions to abate the risk.
