Do I have a case?

Asked on Jan 12th, 2015 on Discrimination - Ohio
More details to this question:
I had an unexpected medical condition come up. I asked if my work offered the FMLA because my doctor wanted to put me into the hospital. My employer told me "NO" they do not offer that which was a lie...a girl I worked with left to have a baby for 3 mths. came back and resumed her position. My manager tried to make me sign a paper that I explained to her that I didn't understand what she was trying to make me sign...I have documentation from my doctor proving that I was and still am sick my question is do I have a discrimination case against my former employer due to unexpected mental health issues?
