More details to this question:
Question...Let's say an unarmed US citizen enters a government building to conduct an official business but somehow gets unlawfully detained by minimum wage outsourced security punks (armed). Federal agents are called and the US citizen is free to leave now with apologies from feds and government folks. However the damage is done and the above mentioned US citizen is completely traumatized and seeks medical help. How much does your freedom valued to you in $$$? Remember that the person was detained without a probable cause and proper procedures...

I don't think you have a case. You don't have much in the way of damages -- no physical injuries to accompany your emotional state -- no financial losses of any significance. Education is not free and you've probably learned that "outsourced security punks" have a lot more authority than one would have thought. DOC
