More details to this question:
I was just fired from my job of 7 years after a long rough year of medical problems. I always gave my employer notice of my doctors appts and when I had test scheduled at the hospital. In Dec 2013 my attendance was address in a conversation when I was given my performance evalution. I worked up until 5/29/14 when I was told that I was fired. I was diagnois with fibramilgy on 5/21/14. I feel this is why I was let go, do I have a case against my employer? Would I be covered under the Americans Disablity Act?

Lisa, It is possible that you would be covered under the American's with Disabilities Act.  Pursuant to the ADA, your employer is required to engage in a dialogue with you regarding your disability and to make reasonable accomodations for you based on your disability.  Failure to do so could be a violation of the ADA.  If you would like to speak with an Employment Attorney about your case, please call for a free case evaluation.
