How can an inmate get proper medical care?

More details to this question:
My fiancee was recently diagnosed with cancer after 16 months of asking for medical services. Now that he has been diagnosed getting them to provide timely treatment and pain relief medications that were prescribed by the prison doctors but have been refeused to inmate. How to I go about getting him the treatment he deserves before it gets even more out of control?

An attorney could assist but this is a matter for paying the attorney's time. I doubt any attorney would take the case con a contingency basis without further investigation and I dont believe any attorney would conduct that investigationwihtout charge.
I suggest either you retain an attorney or you contact the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Corrections in Tallahassee and report the problem. I am sure by contacting the department you would be able to obain the correct phone number.
