QUESTION

How Can I Sue A Judge For Negligence?

Asked on Nov 11th, 2013 on Civil Rights - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Declared permanently disabled in 1979. Respondent refused to pay for medical treatment, so asked attorney to petition Court. He only motioned Court for new treatment. Judge recused my attorney, and refused to read my medical records from several doctors that I can not take medications for Bi-Polar due to my severe allergies, except Tylenol! Now have physical health problems due to the mental health medications I was given in the past. Judge claims it was too much paperwork to read and did not want to hear anything I had to say! Reported Judge to the State of NJ, and found out Workers Compensation Judges are exempt from a Judicial Investigation, unlike other judges. Respondent threatened to have my claim dismissed if I do not go to their Psychiatrist and take meds per the Judge's Orders. I want justice, not death! Sent the Psychiatrist all my medical records for my pending visits in hopes he reads them? I need help!

No - you cannot sue a judge for negligence but you can file a report or a claim against the judge as a violation of judicial ethics.  Go to this website for more information. http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/acjc/index.htm
