I was assaulted by an individual with a gun, that actually the bullet grazed my head pretty intense. Im cooperating with the authorities to bring this person to face justice to the full extent.

You should retain counsel to process the U visa application from start to finish. There are a lot of forms and documents that need to be completed and filed, and you really only get one chance at this so you should get it right.
