I feel like I was "unduly" dismissed as a sub teacher in my school district; it " may " be racially motivated

More details to this question:
I had been a special needs sub teacher since May 2016 in NY - a perfect unblemished record. Moved to CT and secured a mainstream sub position since Oct . I took a long term sub position ( 4th graders for 2 weeks) and became so stressed last Friday I walked out of the class heading straight to the principal's office. She calmed me down, was very empathetic and she returned to the classroom. Spoke with the (21) children and had each 1 write an apology letter to me. This was close to dismissal so I requested another teacher to remain until dismissal. I decided to not return to that assignment. I took off Monday, worked yesterday on a job I had reserved. Then last night I went on the Sschool site to seek another job and was blocked. Received a letter today from an HR attorney stating I am dismissed as a sub from this school AS WELL AS the whole district from any and all Sub jobs. I am devastated and feel destroyed.
Did you have an employee contract? More than likely you are an employee at will and they have the right to fire and hire at will. I don't know that you have a case based on the few details here but I'm leaning toward thinking that you may not. I understand the stresses of this position. I used to teach as well. However, I don't see any details here that show how the administration mistreated you. I would be interested in learning more. I wish you the best.
