i want to sue my attorney for legal malpractice

I came across my mental hospital records and seen a couple of judges' signature on them so I immediately told the judges that I was going to Sue, then a couple of days later my children were taken from me, the social workers didn't work with me to get NY children and the same judge that I was trying to sue was a retired judge that handled my case as a special judge so I knew I wasn't going to have a fair trial, I told my attorney to do a change of venue which she failed to do so and when the judge terminated my parental rights my attorney promised to do an appeal within 30 days well my attorney failed to do the appeal which caused NY children to be adopted, and this happened in September 2010, is there anything to be done?
