More details to this question:
A friend was in a restaurant/bar watching a drag performance. One of the drag queens went down to the floor while performing, kicked his leg into the air and his high heel shoe flew off and hit her in the ear, causing a concussion and abraisons. She is a model and had photo shoots set for the next week that she now had to cancel. Who is responsble? The performer was hired by the club and is not insured as a business.
The club may have exposure as well as the performer, who may have liability insurance through her employer. Retain counsel to file a claim against both in addition to possible other third parties. What state did this happen in?
