QUESTION

Intimidating, hostile, and abusive treatment at work

Asked on Jun 28th, 2014 on Discrimination - Ohio
More details to this question:
I am treated totally different from other employees and my work load in comparison to others is double, I've been given additional job duties with no job description change or pay scale change, they recently leased a building that all I did with it was a few bookings and which maybe took about 1 Hour a month to do and they had a meeting saying that they were taking 16% of my salary since we don't have that income anymore!!!I said what about the accounts payable and accounts receivable that you gave me on top on my Utility's billing Manager duties,,,? They said that job was absorbed into the general fund...no one else has been given extra responsibility without a raise...and my current boss seems to be targeting me .

It sounds like you have been treated unfairly and wrong. Unless the reason for your unfair treatment is against the law, then you likely do not have a case. Hostile work environment and discrimination claims must be related to your age, race, gender, disability, etc.   Ohio Employment Attorney: mcoffmanlegal.com
