More details to this question:
And had an ectopic pregnancy on December 23rd 2017 I arrived at 4 pm in the emergency room where I was denied pain management and was left unattended for extended amounts of time. At 945 pm I was taken back for emergency surgery where it was determined that my Fallopian tube had ruptured and had to be removed, after the surgery the surgeon showed pictures of my reproductive system and discussed private information with not just family members but people that were merely acquaintances and there for moral support as this is a sensitive subject I felt it violated my hippa rights my constitutional right to privacy and as a result has caused emotional distress where now I have no trust in physicians and am seeking psychological and psychiatric care as I already suffer from ptsd .. this event was traumatic enough but the pain and suffering and conditions I was subjected to was unreal I laid in blood for hours with no help from nurses or drs in extreme pain for hours with no assistance

I am sorry that you had to undergo this physical and mental trauma. Under Tennessee law, psychological/mental trauma such as what you suffered falls within the claim of negligent infliction of emotional distress.  A plaintiff alleging only emotional injuries must present material evidence as to each of the five elements of general negligence-duty, breach of duty, injury or loss, causation in fact, and proximate, or legal cause.  To guard against trivial or fraudulent actions, recovery is limited to claims involving “serious” or “severe” emotional injury which are supported by expert proof. In other words, you will need a psychiatrist or psychologists to back up your claim that you suffered PTSD as a result of what happened.
