More details to this question:
My wife is hispanic and my childdren are white. Upon entering the club house at Avalon Bay, my wife had problems opening the door with electronic key and was with my kids. The property management manager aproached my wife and asked her if she lives at Avalon Bay. My wife responded yes. The property manager asked her what apartment. My wife conveyed Townhouse 34201. The property manager said you need to come to my office to discuss with me. My wife dropped off the kids at the pool, went back to the leasing office and property manager wouldn't come out of her office. Everyone in the office knows my wife is Mrs. Anderson. The property manager later apologized to me that it was just a misunderstanding and that it was a communication issue. My wife was with her friends daughte who is american and speaks english fluently during the encounter with propoerty manager. She said that the white property manager was racially discriminating against my wife as she is hispanic.
