More details to this question:
I have worked at the local college during rush for the last 5 yrs. When the girls that worked another job I wanted quit, I asked to be assigned to their job, since I am getting up in years and my legs hurt standing all day. Not only did they NOT let me have the job, but they hired 2 new people to work at it when I know how to do it. Let me say I am white and my boss is black and the other one is too. Not only that, they put me out of my regular job their which was and Entrance Greeter, I have had since day one and put me on a runner job. And they do discriminate, one of the black girls I worked with (one that left the job) they would come and ask her did she need her lunch break. They never asked me, I had to ask for my break and they knew full well I had to have break to take my meds. Also, I have saved my emails from the boss saying the job I wanted takes special training. I believe that is a lie. I already know how to do that job, why would they hire someone else who knows nothing

It doesn't sound like there is much here to support a race discrimination lawsuit. You should contact an employment attorney for a consultation to see what their thoughts are.   Ohio employment lawyer www.mcoffmanlegal.com
