I WORKED FOR IBM 15 YRS 2013 I WENT TO HR TO REPORT SEXUAL HARASSMENT. SEEMS AFTER THAT EVERYTHING AT WORK WENT DOWN HILL UNTIL FINALLY LET GO JUNE 24 2015 INBETWEEN THE TIME FROM HR AND LET GO SEXUAL COMMENTS HARASSMENT ANY BULLYING AT WORK , WENT TO MY MANAGER A NUMBER OF TIMES AND SECOND LINE MANAGER ONCE ...MAN WITH THE SEXUAL HARASSMENT WAS MOVED TO ANOTHER SHIFT... THE MEN IN MY DEPARTMENT LITHO SEXUAL COMMENTS AND BULLIED AND HARASSED ME ,ALSO HAVE MEDICAL EYE PROBLEM ..WHICH WAS SAID UPON THEM ALSO ..WENT TO MANAGER HE EVEN USED A SEXUAL COMMENT ABOUT MY MACHINE STOPPING , BETWEEN THE MEN ON FLOOR AND MANGER USED YOU "BONED" YOUR MACHINE .NOT AN IBM TERM OR ABB. ALSO GOT SO BAD HAD A PANIC ATTACK ON WORK FLOOR 3 WEEKS RIGHT BEFORE BEING LET GO..AND NO ONE WAS ON FLOOR WITH ME, THANK GOD I GOT THREW IT AFTER AWHILE WENT TO DOCTOR FOR IT... PLEASE NOT RIGHT
You most definitely have an action against IBM for sexual harassment and illegal termination, since you put the company on notice of the offensive behavior, gave them an opportunity to correct it, and they did not correct it adequately. You may also have an action for age and disability discrimination. You should contact an attorney right away since there may be statute of limitations issues, depending upon where you choose to file the case.
