Sue electric for defamation

More details to this question:
Have letters stating that electric company placed my husband in collection in error and that the collections would be removed from the credit systems (this occurred two years ago). Yet they have attempted to place him in collections through different collectors. yet they keep telling him they did not and the account balance is zero. Which we found out today. It's very frustrating and hurting his credit big time

Under the Fair Debt Collection Act, you need to contact each of the credit reporting agencies and challenge any negative entry on your credit history. You can sue if you want but you have to find an attorney who is willing to represent you in this matter.
