Superintendent holding graduation tickets

More details to this question:
Our daughter meets all the requirements to attend graduation, we are just not allow to attend her graduation if we don't go to opioid seminar. Superintendent is just targeting the 8th graders parents, making them attend a seminar if they want to see their kid graduate.

This is an interesting issue. However, I would pick another battle to fight. Oppoid addiction is a problem and schools are trying to help. Having a seminar is positive. There is no downside. Why would you not support this effort ? Ed Dimon
