Van what can I do if my dog has bit a kid ?

I was outside with my kids and my dog playing in my back yard. The neighbor kid came by but I asked him to leave because he is not allowed in my yard due to him fighting with my kids. 20min later I hear a loud cry n my dog has bit the kid in the leg. I took him home n informed his parents. Police came. And he went to hospital in ambulance. My dog is current on her shots and is now being correntined. The kids mom is trying to cause problems n said she is going to sew. What can I do?
