QUESTION

Violations/Discrimantion

Asked on Apr 29th, 2015 on Discrimination - New Jersey
More details to this question:
In the Howell Post office we have been bullied, discriminated against women have been referred to as "dogs", clock rings have been changed to avoid paying overtime. EEO have been filed only to be violated. I myself am a victim of retribution because of a EEO that was brought against Postmaster Louis Santopietro. USPS has a Zero tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, discrimination, etc. but know one wants to hear what the carriers or clerks have to say. District managers say "Oh that's how Central/Southern Jersey is." Action needs to be taken. This Postmaster feels he is untouchable and violates every ethical procedure set forth and agreed upon by Postal Management and the NALC Union. We as carriers do not know where to turn because no one seems to want to listen. Evidence has been provided for these allegations and it is all swept under rug. I for one am tired of being harassed and bullied by this man. We need help. Please direct us in a direction.

The carriers should form a group and pool your resources to hire a great private detective to gather the evidenc. We have a wonderful private detective no has 39 years of experience. He would interview the carriers and obtain sworn statement. He would set forth the violations which we could prove. This would give the carriers an objective standard and they could decide if they wanted to spend the money on legal fees. He is ready to investigate. Ed Dimon
