QUESTION

What Can I sue for ?

Asked on May 13th, 2015 on Civil Rights - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Auto Shop Owner had my vehicle for two months(march 6th-may 7th).I paid $1,200 in total, I needed a new head gasket and a tune up.The head gasket had only looked to have been replaced, I asked about the tune up & was told everything was replaced. I was next told I need a new motor, waited 3 more weeks for the "shipment & installation". The mechanic next told me that he still couldn't start my car and, I needed a fuel pump, I decided to have my vehicle towed home, I was told a new fuel pump would cost $250, there was something funny going on so I paid and declined. Another mechanic looked at the vehicle, he noticed the spark plugs& wires aren't new. Look under the vehicle & the motor looks untouched. We can't figure out why it won't start.. foul play was indeed involved. My motor worked fine when I dropped off my vehicle in March as well as the fuel pump.

You can sue in small claims court. You would not need an attorney.
