What recourse do I have ?

More details to this question:
I was pursued in my car by my younger sisters boyfriend in my car. He is a convicted felon, twice serving 5 years and 4 years for aggravated assault. To avoid road rage, I pulled into a shopping store lot, only to have him block me in. I got out of the car and asked him to move he was taking pictures of my license plate and did not reply. I had recently been evicted from my DAD'S home after taking care of him for 5 years. My DAD was a WW11 vet , I was his only son. I had 3 sisters, one younger, two older. I am 68 years old now. This happened when I was 64. As I walked toward him he walked away not saying anything. He called the police and said I had a weapon on me (which I did not), the police arrived in seconds and approached me and asked if I had a weapon, I replied no sir. The officer told me I am not under arrest and to turn around. He then handcuffed me and frisked me. Then put me in the back of the police car. The other officers tore my car apart. They found nothing.

You have no recourse. This happened four years ago.  I think you waited too long.
