More details to this question:
Victim Adult - Me Minor - Defendant Minor assaulted the Victim out of anger for no reason because the Victim looked familiar (Possibly a setup to attack the Victim) Minor attacks the Victim siting down. Victim defends himself by slap to the face, hand on the face and knocking the minors hat off. (Fight with witness trying to brake it up) Minor punches the victim, fight stops, Minor runs away, victim is taken to emergency with broken facial bones. Victim sues minor (family court) Minors father writes complaint on Victim (slap to the face, scratch/hand on face(no damage or anything [self defense] and knocking hat off his head) I am now have to go to court on "criminal charges" for defending myself from attacking minor (didnt know how old he was but who cars, he attacked me) Everything is on Video. This is pure self defense, i didnt even punch him? What happens to me now?

complaints have been filed by both parties. the judge was not present for the incident. the judge will hear the testimony from the witnesses and make a decision. you need to have your witnesses prepared and your evidence ready to be presented.  this is a classic municipal court 'simple assault' case. please let us know if we can help. ed dimon, esq.
