QUESTION

Will hiring a lawyer help with a governor pardon?

Asked on Jul 02nd, 2017 on Civil Rights - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I was convicted of a drug felony in 2001 in New Jersey. In 2004 I was released. I filed the executive clemency paperwork around 2008 and never got a pardon from Governor Jon Corzine at the time. I did get a letter of "good conduct". If I pay a lawyer will there be a good chance that I can receive a pardon?

A Governor's ' pardon' is most difficult to obtain. We did obtain one in a drug conviction case. The circumstances were extraordinary. The legal fees were $7500. Please call to discuss the 'pardon'and the concept of expungement. Ed Dimon 732-797-1600
