QUESTION

Workplace Harrassment/Bully

Asked on May 12th, 2014 on Discrimination - Ohio
More details to this question:
I recently had a position change and now I am being harassed or at least that is how I feel. I was out on medical leave for 8 weeks and ever since returning I have been feeling this way. I was a manager along with being he HR for all of them as well and know that this cannot be right. I had my manager abruptly change who I report to and he is awful when he communicates with me. I work for a huge commendable hospital and I cannot believe that this is going and and ok in others eyes. I am completely stressed and don't know where to turn, even HR at the workplace seems to be tainted.

You should contact an employment attorney. Were you on FMLA leave? If you were on FMLA leave, you cannot be retaliated against for exercising your right to take FMLA leave. Also, in your complaints to HR, make sure they are in writing. Follow up on oral communications with your employer about the harassment in email or writing, if possible.   Ohio Employment Attorney - mcoffmanlegal.com
