QUESTION

How to sue Google for ruining my business

Asked on Feb 19th, 2016 on Commercial Litigation - California
More details to this question:
I sell books online and Google Shopping (through Google merchant center) is my primary source of sales. They recently suspended my accounts and then gave me no clear reason for why. I called their customer support and was given suggestion after suggestion for the past 90 days, and no changes I made have worked. They keep saying they don't have to give me a reason, and just send me a link to their policies. This is obstruction of trade, monopolistic, and unfair according to any reasonable definition. My revenues will drop from 1.5 million to 400,000 this year, purely because of their seemingly baseless suspension and refusal to help me fix whatever I am doing.

Your first course of action should be to consult with a Google Shopping consultant to figure out why your account was suspended and how it can be fixed.  This may be a quick and easy solution.  It's best to get back in business as soon as possible. If you want to pursue your legal rights, you may have a case for intentional interference with a prospective business advantage, breach of contract, breach of the California Unfair Competition Law, and similar causes of action.
