What are my rights to prevent online and schoolplace bullying against my high school daughter..

More details to this question:
Two years ago my daughter wrote a private message to a friend critical of BLM, and expressing juvenile thoughts around race to a friend. Recently the message was resurfaced by two girls at her high school and is being spread via all social media platforms. One of the girls sought her out in a public restroom at school, threw water on her, and threatened her. She only received an inschool suspension for this. People are insulting her, threatening her, and telling her to kill herself (she attempted suicide in the past). The online and in person harrasment continues with little help from the school.
You can contact the police and file reports. You can speak with the school administration about this. You should make sure she has counseling and help with this. You can remove the social media accounts and hope this just passes. It doesn't sound as if there is anything for a lawyer to do here yet however. If you contact the school seeking an acomadation and nothing results from that, then perhaps it is time to consult with an experienced attorney. There is a hard lesson here too. Comments and posts to social media never really go away and can come back to bit you years later. Be very very careful what you put out there in the world, good and bad. Everything gets re-interpreted, manipulated and misused in this electronic era. Good luck.
