Can you reveal personal info about someone online as long as it's true?

More details to this question:
Could you go to another website and talk about what type of person they are on another site and their contact info and, if so is there laws to protect the owner of the site does this fall under freedom of speech or, demation of character? I would have a section where you could refute what's being said and members would have to get verified and have proof of allegations.

freedom of speech is broad and will cover most statements except 'hate' crime comments. ed dimon, esq.
