Defamation and Malicious Lawsuit question

Asked on Mar 28th, 2017 on Libel, Slander and Defamation - Florida
More details to this question:
I lost an order of protection case but the court didn't leave a reason why I lost but did say I had justification for my alarm due to my "stalkers" actions. My lawyer then requested a re-hearing or explanation of why my claim was denied for a possible appeal. I posted on facebook warning single women to be careful who they date on dating sites based on my experience with my "stalker". I never used his name directly. Just referred to him as my stalker. I also said that he and his father were lawyers. That is the only description of him I posted. Can I be found guilty of Defamation and for filing a malicious lawsuit based on this?

Possibly - any time you "take it to the streets" and post up public accusations and comments, especially after having lost an issue in court, you run that risk. Whether one side or the other wins is a whole different issue.
