Do i have legal recourse?

More details to this question:
I was video recorded without my knowledge in a private residence a year and change ago. this person then used said video to make fun and humiliate me. i only found out about the video days ago. is there legalities i can pursue?

Depending on the nature of the video there may be many remedies, though defamation is not likely one of them. You should consult with a lawyer immediately to address this issue.
