Do I need a lawyer or a PI if someone is stalking me but I can't prove it?

More details to this question:
There is someone who found a way to make money ruining my life in small criminal mischief like ways as well as in ways on media. Some of it may be slander, and or privacy invasion etc.

Likely both. Impossible to sue "someone" that is stalking you. You will need to identify the person and have proof of the alleged conduct.
