QUESTION

How does one sue for defamation?

Asked on Feb 09th, 2017 on Libel, Slander and Defamation - Florida
More details to this question:
I have a person who has harassment me and my friends for 5 years. She's spread lies about me over all social media platforms. There's a website dedicated specifically for me. I also have seen my name pop in "SCAM" sites such as ripoffreport...usa scam. Everything written is a lie. I have been fired previously from jobs because of this. How do I prove it's a specific person doing this? How do I file a civil suit?

Having handled many such cases you will need to hire a lawyer as some significant expense unfortunately to try to ID the people and sue them. Goodpart about social media cases is that its easer to establish the damages by tracking the comment posts.
