I want to sue my ex neighbor deformation and slander Libel

I rented an apartment in Toms River. It was a 2 story complex that has about 14 units. I lived downstairs while Tim lived directly above me. I tried to be nice but Tim was full blown alcoholic . I caught him sticking his face in my windows at 3:00 am. He told me he liked eavesdropping in on my my life my life because it was more exciting. . After a month, I told him I was not interested and that I would never go out with him or have sex with him. That was the beginning of his hate slander deformation obsession rampage against me. If had male company over he would stomp super hard on the floor above me screaming "whore" "slut" "c**t" . 17 Months of this parading up and down the complex scream "whore" slut" to name a few. Neighbors would tell me how Tim was obsessed with me and was always talking about me even though I hadn't spoke to him in months. Tim told all our neighbors I was prostitute and hooker. The list goes on and on until I moved out 6 months early.
