More details to this question:
I was arrested for misdemeanor battery due to a complaint by my ex gf. She lied in her statement and again in our injunction hearing in which she lost as I proved she lied. I was forced to wear a tracker for 20 days and was put on non paid administrative Leave. This very much affected my career and friendships. I was always afraid of getting a violation even though I was doing nothing wrong. She found this quite entertaining as she sent my mugshot to a friend with a laughing emoji.

Its not sounding like the case was emtiely meritless with the tracker requirement described. That stated, you can sue for malicious prosecution, not really defamation, but its an expesive lawsuit and usually not very financially viable.
