QUESTION

libel/defamation ex-wife

Asked on Jan 09th, 2014 on Libel, Slander and Defamation - Florida
More details to this question:
My wife has made false allegations about me after the divorce. She has actually put these statements on paper. I have two motions filed against her through my attorney. My day in court is Feb 13th, I was wondering if I could sue her using tort law seeking monetary compensation for my hardship.

You can. The issue is do you want to pay an attorney to do this? Such cases are typically not handled on a contingent fee unless the lawyer is desperate or not very bright.   You can contact our office at 813-877-6442. For some reason I cannotrespond to your inquiry on here.
