Need a cease and desist letter

My husband and our family need help composing and serving a cease and desist letter for defamation of character with the possibility of suing a neighbor. We have been consistently harassed and reported to animal control and the police for completely false and delirious allegations. This is already causing tremendous amount of pain/suffering/annoyance and somehow infringed on our whole family's basic rights to live peacefully in our neighborhood. We feel that it will hinder circumstances concerning my husband being fired from his job as a firefighter. We want to avoid being slandered so that the whole of our reputation is not destroyed by such malicious negative slanderous comments. Please respond as soon as possible wether your firm can assist us or guide us in the right direction to protect ourselves and set legal boundaries with our neighbors.
