You may have a good case from a variety of angles, but a poor one in others. Most likely the difficulty in the case is actually getting damages paid by the offender. Typically theses cases are handled on an hourly/rate retainer unless it is clear there is either ability to actually pay damages by offender or insurance that covers her conduct.
