QUESTION

What recourse do I have?

Asked on Oct 29th, 2018 on Libel, Slander and Defamation - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I am a teacher and an anonymous post was made on a teacher rating website. The post accused me of a sexual impropriety that is completely false and potentially damaging. I have been completely transparent with my administration who support me fully. I have flagged the post which goes against the terms of services of the website and the post remains. I would also like to obtain both a time stamp and IP address to find out who posted this and pursue this to the fullest degree.

We just did a case involving a teacher and a sexually inappropriate posting. We worked closely with the internet provider to have the post removed and to determine the source of the post. The key is following the requirements of the internet provider perfectly. We did. We got the source. Please call asap to discuss. Ed Dimon, Esq. 732-797-1600
