QUESTION

Can I do anything about being scammed ?

Asked on Nov 24th, 2017 on Consumer Fraud - Florida
More details to this question:
I was talking to my aunt online and thought it was her. But come to find out it was not her. Someone had gotten into her account and was acting like her. So they told me about getting a grant but I had to send them to money to cover what I was going to get. So I did and now after I sent the money they keep saying I need to send more. I stopped and told them I need my money back and the fees too.

Snowballs chance toever see that money again. Report the scam to local law enforcement and see what they can do. Be prepared to be told they will look into it and thats about it.
