More details to this question:
I bought a car recently and was told it was under $5000. I have now started making payments and when I received my receipt it shows the car in the end will really cost me over $6000. Can I sue for my down payment and payments made?

If you signed a written agreement, it typcially wont matter what you were told. Most every RISC (retail instalment sales contract) for a car sale has all the numbers set out to show what you are spending and costs, etc. If you have questions, we provide FREE legal consultations at 1-800-922-6442.
