QUESTION

consumer fraud- auto fraud

Asked on Feb 27th, 2017 on Consumer Fraud - New Jersey
More details to this question:
hello, I am looking for someone to represent me in a consumer fraud case against a local mechanic/restorationist that I contracted 2 years ago to restore my rare 1961 Lincoln convertible car but now sits outside dismantled and not being worked on where-as he is working on other cars. He has not done anything he has promised and I have given a lot of money upfront (25k). I have emails/printed texts/papers saying things would be done but have been taken advantage of with empty promises.

You can sue the mechanic to have your car and money returned. Do you have a written contract?
