QUESTION

Dealer lied about financing options and rates

Asked on Dec 22nd, 2017 on Consumer Fraud - Florida
More details to this question:
I had a pre-approval letter but the dealer said the bank reconsidered. They then offered me a loan at a much higher interest rate, saying that my credit score was low. Unfortunately, by the time I realized the lie I had already signed the contract and driven off. Can I get my money back?

Hmmmmm.....there is a lot missing from these facts, starting with you being foolish enough to believe the dealer claiming "you bank reconsidered" on a pre-approval letter, without you even contacting the back to verify thats true. That stated there may be any number of TILA or Fla. Stat. 501.976 type violations here that could be used to seek whats called recission. The issue will be your willingness to spendmoney onlegal fees to try and undo the deal you made.
