QUESTION

Down payment credit dispute

Asked on May 23rd, 2017 on Consumer Fraud - New Jersey
More details to this question:
A friend of mine made a down payment on a car. 60 days later he filed a credit card claim on the down payment he made on my car. There were several people listening to him talking to the finance car at the dealership confirming and authorizing payment. We all know he is now committing fraud. What are my options to get this resolved?

You should strike a deal with your friend. It is too expensive to sue him in court.
