Asked on Feb 12th, 2014 on Consumer Fraud - Florida
More details to this question:
I have a food stamp issue, where an agent did my application incorrectly and had me on biweekly so when it was time to recertify, they seen that I was getting paid weekly, and I received a increase of 900.00, when clearly I didn't get a increase, and now they stated that I will have to pay them back some money due to the agent made mistake. what do I do?

If you recieved benefits when you weren't eligible and signed some documents related to it, you will probably best be served to pay them back. You can point out agent mistake, but unless they agree, its a tough road on that.
