I got scammed by a consignment store in NYC

More details to this question:
I encountered a scam issue recently that I am seeking for help. I hope you could give me some suggestions. I sent some high value streetwear items to a consignment store in NYC named CopvsDrop. Since my inventories hasn’t been sold for a long time, I went to the store few days ago and tried to get them back. Unfortunately when I reached the store, the staff told me that CopvsDrop has closed. Now the store has changed to a new name and they are no longer relevant to CopvsDrop. The staff asked me to contact CopvsDrop by email for my inventories issue. I sent hundreds of email to them but they never reply. I strongly assumed that I got scammed by them and I am so anxious that I cannot get my inventories back. Could you please give me some suggestions what can I do? Is there any laws or regulations that protects the seller when facing this issue? I have kept all the information and evidence regarding my inventories. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.

You can sue the corporation that owned the store, but collection is an issue especially if they are bankrupt.
