pay day loans

More details to this question:
I applied for a payday loan and have gotten 50 calls ,but 1 company called and said that I was approved for 3000.00 but will have to send them 150.00 thru a pre paid credit card and they will deposit my money in my acct.and I will pay 140.00 a month for 24 mos. Do you have any history or input on this situation

i would avoid a payday loan. the contract that you must sign with the company providing the payday loan is heavily weighed in favor of the company. if you miss a payment, the penalties are significant. the interest rates can escalate. ed dimon, esq.
