Based on the limited information you provided, if it was a bait and switch situation where the dealer advertised a lower price then inflated it, that's a problem that may fit into false advertising. New York covers that in its General Business Law sections 349 and 350. It has to harm the general public. If this is a one time issue, the state attorney general's office website should have complaint forms for car dealers and consumer fraud. Otherwise, this may be a msall claims case for a breach of contract, but if you paid the price then you may have a hard time claiming you were damaged.
Good Luck! This is not legal advice nor does it create an attorney client relationship. It is just informational. You should hire an attorney if you want to pursue a legal matter.
